We continue to tell the story of MISTER MUNRO, where we pay homage to James Munro, the founder of the Victoria Coffee Palace on our original site. James Munro was a former Premier of Victoria and staunch leader of the Temperance Movement.

The teetotallers are long gone and so we invite you to our modern Art Deco-inspired Melbourne restaurant & bar to enjoy the hospitality that this building has been renowned for since 1880.
